Quick Overview

9007-3 Bi-Xenon (Dual Beam Hi/Lo) Telescopic HID Canbus Conversion Kit

HID (High Intensity Discharge) Xenon lights have been used for many years in higher end vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, etc.. In the past, drivers with outdated halogen lights could only dream of the performance of HID Headlights. We now proudly introduce HID Xenon Conversion Kits to convert older style Halogen Headlights to HID Xenon Lights. Conversion is very easy and the kits are extremely affordable.

All of our HID products are E4 and ISO-9001:2000 Approved.  They are manufactured under the strictest of quality control.  The ballasts are also shockproof and 100% waterproof (you can literally submerge the entire kit and it will still function properly).

Installation is Plug-N-Play and is simple enough for a first time installer to do in 30 minutes.  Our kits plug right into your existing headlight assembly and all necessary hardware for installation is included.

What is the CAN-BUS problem and how do we solve it?

This issue is known on many European cars (BMW/BENZ/AUDI/VW) and now it is occur on some American cars (CHRYSLER/DODGE/JEEP). These vehicles came from the factory with 55w Halogen headlights. When the 55w Halogen is converted to HID running at 35w there are two potential problems:

1. When running at 35W, the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) thinks the light bulb on one side is broken and will cut down on the power it sends to the headlight, causing the HID to flicker because there is not enough power.

2. The difference in current will trigger a "low beam failure indicator" or a "fast blinking error" on the dashboard warning panel.

Our Canbus conversion kit will smooth out the power flowing to each headlight and eliminate the flicker issue. This kit will also cancel out the false error light warnings. This Ballast is safe and will not cause any damage to the ECU or electrical wiring.

How does HID work?

The ballasts included in a Lumens HID conversion kit converts the 12V DC with only 35W draw (approximately 20W less than your halogen bulb) from your vehicle's light bulb plug to approximately 23,000V AC. This power is then used to create an arc of electricity in the specially designed Lumens Xenon bulbs. This arc of electricity ignites the Xenon gas in the bulb, and in turn creates an intense light source similar to that of the Sun. Because the light is created by an arc of electricity, and not from 'burning' a filament, the heat created by the light is substantially less than that of a standard halogen bulb.

Can I convert my car?

Yes. Our diverse lines of Xenon HID Kits for HID Headlight Conversion are designed to retrofit virtually all vehicles with no modification. We have kits with all Color Temperatures: 4300K, 6000K, 8000K, 10000K, 12000K. Available in all HID bulb sizes.

What Does The Kit Contain?

This kit contains everything you need to upgrade your existing car's headlight system to the best lighting available today!  This kit includes:

How Hard Is It To Install The HID Kit?

HID Conversion Kit installation is considered "do-it-yourself". While a typical installation takes approximately 30 minutes, it can vary depending on application (conversion or auxiliary). Our kits plug right into your existing headlight assembly and all necessary hardware for installation is included.

Why Convert To HID?

Comparison Between Halogen and HID

More Light Output
A 35W HID light source produced up to 3 times the lumens at the light source when compared to a 55W halogen bulbs.

Greater Visibility
Xenon produces up to 70 percent more light output and a wider beam which potentially increases safety. Xenon DOES NOT produce more glare than a halogen system. The combination of more light output and whiter color makes for better visibility in most night time driving conditions.

Longer Life
HID lamps will last, on average over 10 times as long than halogen bulbs. Our products are designed to last at least 3000 hours.

Easier On The Eyes
HID lighting replicates natural daylight colors.  You see things more clearly than with ordinary or even high wattage halogen bulbs. Since our 4300K HID bulb color is more true-to-life, objects appear more vivid and real when driving at night.

How is this possible?  It's all a matter of the way the human eye works.  By precisely balancing the intensity of our HID lights, and fine tuning the hid color "temperature" and hid color rendering capabilities, we have developed an HID bulb that replicates the qualities and characteristics of mid-day sunlight.  You can view the road, read signs, and navigate your world at night - in a whole new light.

Color Temperatures (K - Kelvins)

There is a general misconception that a higher K rating provides more light than a lower K rating with Xenon HID lights. The brightest light is actually at a pure white light without any additional colors. With Xenon HIDs, you would see pure white at 6000K. OE manufacturers choose a light at 4300K rather than 6000K. 4300K has a slight yellowish color (like the color halogen bulbs have). This is not the brightest color band for a clear night; 6000K would provide more visibility in this case.

HID bulb color temperatures

Warning: Please use this color chart for reference only, as colors the users sees varies from monitor to monitor. Also, colors generated by the bulbs may appear differently inside different headlight housings / vehicles as the physical housings may influence the color / light amplification of the bulbs inside

More Efficient
HID lights are not only better for your eyes, they are energy efficient. Using a 35 watt hid bulb, you'll get the equivilant of a 175 watt halogen bulb. That's an 80% increase in efficiency - Per HID Bulb!

Environmentally Friendly

Xenon HID lights consume over 50% less energy and thus appeals to an environmentally conscious driver. Also, HID lights burn cooler and last longer. Go Green!
